\"Soundinstallation<\/p>\n

The Physical HoT SpoT<\/strong> – ein physischer anschluss an ein netzwerk im oeffentlichen raum. der koerper – das plug-in. wenn man davon ausgeht, dass vernetzungstechnologien mit ihren mobilen digitalen peripheriegeraeten dazu da sind, daten \u00fcberall zug\u00e4nglich zu machen, dann ist uli schusters “physical hot spot” das laufwerk fuer einen analogen, unmittelbaren koerpereigenen anschluss. der kuenstler realisiert in innsbruck eine installative studie hierzu: ein geflecht aus ortsspezifischen, aus dem stadtbild verschwundenen ereignissen, kommt durch die performative informationsaufnahme der besucher\/innen wieder an die oberflaeche. <\/p>\n

The Physical HoT SpoT<\/strong> \u2013 a physical connection to a network in public space. the body – the plug-in. if we assume that the network technologies with their mobile periphery devices serve the purpose of enhancing the power of perception, uli schuster\u2019s \u201cphysical hot spot\u201d represents one\u2019s port for an analogous direct connection using the own body. in innsbruck, the artist realizes a research into this topic through an installation: a mesh of locally specific events which have disappeared from present-day city resurfaces through the visitor\u2019s performative recording of information. <\/p>\n
