For the dOCUMENTA (13) Uli Schuster shows an object from his personal collection. Presence resp. absence are themes which are a red line in his work. For Super Conspiracy he had chosen a flexible and moldable object from thick fabric. While the first impression is linked to the recognition of an object of daily life and human size. Questions of ownership and gender pop up. Today artworks are often produced by a 3d printer. He brought a traditional manufactured piece. Designed in Sweden – produced in China. Reflecting the globalization of products of today.

Ich gebe seit Januar Führungen im neu eröffneten Computerspielemuseum. Kommenden Sonntag biete ich eine öffentliche Führung an. Wer Lust hat mich auf der Zeitreise zu begleiten der sei herzlich willkommen:

Vom Schachtürken, über Spacewar bis zur Soapserie.
Eine historische Zeitreise mit raren Originalen, spielbaren Klassikern und Kunstwerken. Auf ‘Pong’ geht es los!

Auch im April gebe ich zwei öffentliche Führungen. So, 10. + 17. April, jeweils um 13 Uhr.

Realstadt.Wishes Knocking on Reality’s Doors
The location – a great venue: the disused power station, which is also used by the club Tresor. The exhibition – 250 architecture models of german cities / projects. A focus is put on Berlin. On November 7, 2010, at 12 (noon), I will give a public tour in english.
Update: One more public tour: November 28, 2010, at 12 (noon). This is also the final day of the exhibition.
